The annual field study tour of the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies, University of Kelaniya was held on 24, 25 and 26 September 2025, with the participation of over a hundred foreign monks and nuns, focusing on Yapahuwa, Aukana, Hatthikuchchi, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. Under the guidance of the Director of the Institute, Senior Professor Medawachchiye Dhammajothi Thero, and with the dedication of the faculty members, this study tour was able to develop the attitudes of foreign students towards Sri Lanka and promote knowledge about Buddhist arts and the historical knowledge of Sri Lanka.
