The farewell ceremony for K.D. Jayalath, who is retiring after forty years of service at the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies, University of Kelaniya, was held on 12th January 2026 under the patronage of Director Senior Professor Wasantha Priyadarshana.
